Greetings to all! Welcome to the official website for The Beautiful People Club (or call us The BPC for short). We are a three-piece band based in the central part of North Carolina (USA) known as “the Triangle” (Raleigh, Durham & Chapel Hill). As our slogan indicates, the band's primary musical stylings are immersed in a mixture of blues and rock with an abundance of twangy and funky elements to keep audiences entertained and dancing. The BPC is proud to offer an ever-expanding repertoire of strong original music along with choice selected covers. The classic “power trio” format of drums, bass and guitar keeps the sounds clear and defined while providing depth and punch often associated with larger ensembles.
Featuring Glenn Jones (bass & vocals), Jason Barker (guitar & vocals) and David Shore (drums & percussion), the BPC exhibits high levels of musicianship, versatility and professionalism. Three seasoned veteran players with years of touring experiences combine forces to offer a fresh and exciting group with plans to expand beyond North Carolina in the foreseeable future. Mid-2023 marked a promising start for the band and 2024 has thus far seen a continuing increase in momentum. The BPC has begun recording tracks for their first album and are adding new live performance dates which can be viewed on the home page of this site.
